El Domingo de Resurrección o de Pascua es la fiesta más importante para todos los católicos, ya que con la Resurrección de Jesús es cuando adquiere sentido toda nuestra religión.
La Resurrección de Jesús es un hecho histórico, cuyas pruebas entre otras, son el sepulcro vacío y las numerosas apariciones de Jesucristo a sus apóstoles.
La Resurrección es fuente de profunda alegría. A partir de ella, los cristianos no podemos vivir más con caras tristes. Debemos tener cara de resucitados, demostrar al mundo nuestra alegría porque Jesús ha vencido a la muerte.
Debemos estar verdaderamente alegres por la Resurrección de Jesucristo, nuestro Señor. En este tiempo de Pascua que comienza, debemos aprovechar todas las gracias que Dios nos da para crecer en nuestra fe y ser mejores cristianos. Vivamos con profundidad este tiempo.

Il sepolcro vuoto ha costituito per tutti un segno essenziale. La sua scoperta da parte dei discepoli è stato il primo passo verso il riconoscimento dell'evento della Risurrezione.
Il tema centrale della predicazione degli apostoli era la risurrezione di Cristo.
Questo Gesù, Dio l'ha risuscitato e noi tutti ne siamo testimoni (At 2,32).
Con grande forza gli apostoli rendevano testimonianza della risurrezione del Signore Gesù (At 433).

Jesus’ empty tomb is the sign of the most complete victory, the most extreme love, and the most powerful presence. Mary Magdalene, Peter and John all see the empty tomb. But their limited faith needs time to grow and completely accept the great gift that is offered to them. In approaching the mystery of God, I must stoke up my faith. Otherwise, what should cause hope and courage will only wind up becoming a stumbling block for me. Only a sincere and generous faith in Christ enables me to take the circumstances of life in hope, confidence and security.
Running is an integral part of this Gospel. Mary Magdalene runs. Peter runs, and John outruns Peter. Love for the Lord creates a sense of urgency. What they saw at the tomb could have been seen without running at all. But promptness is a sign of love for the Lord. If I wish to experience Christ and the power of his resurrection, I need to have a sense of urgency in my relationship with the Lord. I must strive to meet him and give myself to him in my here and now. I can’t wait for the “ideal” moment. If I don't give myself to Christ now, under the present conditions, there is no reason to think I ever will.

W wielkanocny poranek Bóg odkrywa przed nami w swoim Słowie tajemnicę Zmartwychwstania. Pokazuje nam w Nim ważną prawdę: tajemnica owa była i jest nadal odkrywana stopniowo oraz wspólnie. Wysiłek rozpoczyna się od Marii Magdaleny. Przybyła ona na miejsce, w którym pochowano ciało Jezusa i zobaczyła coś, czego się nie spodziewała: odsunięty kamień grobowca. Wiadomość zaniosła uczniom. Ci z pośpiechem udali się do grobu. Pierwszy przybył Jan. Nie wszedł do grobu, poczekał na Piotra. Obaj, będąc na zewnątrz, zwrócili uwagę na sposób rozmieszczenia płócien, którymi było owinięte ciało Jezusa: leżały w taki sposób, który wykluczał to, iż zostały prze kogoś zdjęte. Zauważmy: o tym, że stało się coś wyjątkowego mówi nie tylko pusty grób, ale coś ważnego mówią także pozostawione tkaniny.
Po wejściu do grobowca Piotr zauważył, że chusta z głowy Jezusa nie leży z pozostałymi tkaninami, lecz zupełnie osobno. Ten na pozór nieważny szczegół okazał się bardzo istotny — przypomniał Piotrowi słowa Pisma, które mówiło o powstaniu z martwych. Prawda o Zmartwychwstaniu ukazała się w pełni.
Szukanie prawdy jest wysiłkiem, przejściem od widzenia przez rozumienie aż do uwierzenia. Czy ja także uczestniczę w poszukiwaniu? Nie można „siedzieć w domu” oczekując na wiadomości innych poszukiwaczy. Bieg jeszcze nie jest zakończony. W drogę! Biegnij!
